Surgical Microscopes
An operating microscope will be used during the procedure. It provides enhanced visualization of the endodontic access or surgical area up to 25 times. Surgical microscopes help us to find extremely calcified canals inside roots of teeth and observe cracks we otherwise might not have been able to visualize.
Digital Radiographs
The use of digital radiography allows the patient to be exposed to a minimal amount of radiation as compared to conventional x-rays. The use of digital radiographs has reduced the exposure to x-rays by 80-90%.
Apex Locaters
Apex locaters allow us to electronically determine the actual length of each root of a tooth. It also helps reduce the number of radiographs taken.
Ultrasonics
Ultrasonic instruments rapidly vibrate and transmit energy from an oscillating nickel titanium file to a disinfectant in the root canal. This helps irrigate and disinfect canals during root canal treatment. They also aid in locating small canals, removing posts, and removing separated instruments.
Nickel Titanium Rotary Instrumentation
We use the most up to date instruments, which aid in using great precision for the cleaning and shaping of root canals.
