What to Expect      

 

Your appointment will consist of a consultation carefully explaining your diagnosis and treatment options.  At this time, necessary radiographs (x-rays) will be taken for our digital records.  Treatment is often possible on the day of your consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require a second appointment on a different day.

 

We realize that receiving root canal treatment may cause some individuals anxiety.  We want you to feel at ease in our office and know that we strive to make each visit as painless as possible.  However, if you are interested in receiving any anxiety reducing agents, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or oral sedatives, please inform our staff.  Should you be interested in oral sedatives, this must be arranged prior to your appointment through your general dentist, medical doctor, or through our office following an appropriate consultation.R
